This is my first solo exhibition, and I am very excited to show some works that I have been creating, that are a part of a twenty-year journey.
I have previously included my works into group exhibitions and art shows over the past thirty-five years, so this well overdue exhibition brings an element of life experience and a refocus in works with personal expression.
Nurturant is a creative expression of detail, nurtured and inspired by nature, a love of animals and an evolving garden journey of connection with Bernie the cat.
Illustrations are created with an infused inner child perspective which reflects my connection with Bernie, the evolving garden, and the little creatures. Included with these pieces are quotes and little stories I have written which have brought a deeper awareness to allowing expression of the inner child, and the bond we shared and nurtured.
Oil paintings and other works are also created from the inspiring twenty-year journey, with gardening, learning about our connection with nature and animals, which has brought me to a better understanding of my self expression, a deep love and nurturing for all animals and natural systems.
Nurturant is a collection of every life supporting and nurturing one another.
The exhibition is running from Feb 26th - April 5th 2026 during open hours at Kilderkin Distillery, 14A Hill Street, Ballarat.
