Holmesglen Rec Gold Rush & Grampians Trip 2019
Get ready for an action packed, adventure filled weekend away to Sovereign Hill and Halls Gap! Experience life in Victoria as a gold miner as it was in the 1850’s as we visit Sovereign Hill. While there you will have the opportunity to participate in some of the 18 activities such as gold panning, a spectacular gold pour, underground mine adventures, theatre shows, bowling and sweet making just to name a few.
On day two explore Victoria’s hidden valley and be inspired by the natural beauty of Halls Gap where you will be nestled in the heart of the Grampians. There will be no shortage of photo opportunities with the breathtaking views of Mackenzie Falls and Reed Lookout. Do not miss out on this weekend trip if you want to get up close and personal with mother nature.
Students will meet at our Chadstone campus at 9am on Saturday March 23, where we will begin the drive to Sovereign Hill. The ticket price includes accommodation, transport, entry to Sovereign Hill, dinner and breakfast. If you need to leave your car at the campus please provide us with your regisatration details and we will provide you with a parking permit (note you will still need to pay for a single parking ticket when you arrive on the first day).
