Pushing the boundaries of the genre in both the lighter and heavier styles, a live show is a rollercoaster to experience! With their sound influenced by an extraordinarily wide variety of artists and life experiences, and 3 years dedicated to developing their material, they are preparing to release their debut album "Mongrel" in early 2026."
Kxx is an alt-rock band from Ballarat, celebrated for their
gritty yet melodic sound, fusing post-punk energy with indie rock vibes.
Known for their raw live performances, the songs explode with melody and
sweet grit. Drawing comparisons to PJ Harvey, The Kills and Queens of the
Stone Age. Kristine Allan brings energy through her vocals and guitar, while
Peter Allan’s bass lines provide depth and balance to the raw intensity of
her sound. Adding further drive and rhythm, Lesley Fromholtz brings
dynamic power on drums, anchoring the band’s live performances with
precision and punch.

As a kid, Steve (AKA 100 MOODS), would grab his Dad's squash racquet and pretend to be Angus Young! These days he is a live loop artist and singer songwriter. He plays melodic indie tunes and performs regularly in Melbourne Australia and around his home town of Ballarat.
