- **Event Description**: Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. 

This session of Walk with a Doc will be held indoors, at the Baldwinsville YMCA, 8040 River Road. Previous outings have been held at Onondaga Lake Park.

This week's event will be led by Matthew Glidden, MD, an internist who practices hospital medicine, who will discuss “What is a hospitalist? And why you want one in the hospital.”  
Glidden will offer his brief remarks before leading participants in the indoor walk. Participants then walk at their own pace and distance. The event is free and open to the public.

It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance. We hope to see you there!
