Welcome to the 3rd Annual AMVETS Post 1988 ORV Poker Run!

Come join us for a day of off-road fun and excitement at 1959 W 24th St., Baldwin, MI 49304. This event is geared to fund our scholarship program as well as support the needs of veterans throughout the area.

Registration required for all participants and includes Poker payout, multiple 50/50 options and a full dinner buffet. Bonfire and great music to follow.

Get ready to rev up your engines and hit the trails with fellow ORV enthusiasts. This event is perfect for riders of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros.

Explore the beautiful terrain, test your luck at the poker tables, and enjoy the thrill of the ride. Whether you're riding solo or with a group of friends, this poker run promises to be a memorable experience for all.

Don't know the area, no worries... guided trail tours will be also available.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMITY AGREEMENT

AMVETS POST 1988 * BALDWIN, MICHIGAN

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

IN CONSIDERATION for being permitted to participate in the Michigan AMVETS Post 1988’s annual ORV Poker Run benefiting AMVETS Post 1988 of Baldwin, MI and sponsored by various entities.

ALL PARTICIPANTS:

1. HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND CONVENANT NOT TO SUE Michigan’s AMVETS Post 1988, our members, participating businesses, along with other sponsors and all of its holdings, and owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event and each of them, their officers and employees, any of the Towns or Cities included in the Poker Run, the State of Michigan, the dealers, officers, directors, management, officials and volunteers assisting in the event, the sanctioning organization or any subdivision thereof, grounds operators, grounds owners, officials, promoters, sponsors, advertisers; all of the purpose herein referred to as “releases,” from all liabilities to ALL PARTICIPANTS, their personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of PARTICIPANTS, weather caused by the negligence of the release or otherwise while PARTICIPANTS is participating in the event.

2. HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releases and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including attorney’s fees) they may incur due to the presence of ALL PARTICIPANTS participating in the event and whether caused by the negligence or the releases or otherwise.

3. ALL PARTICIPANTS agrees that while participating in this event, the use of alcohol and other substance which affects the ability to operate or control his or her vehicle may be considered as hazardous to the health and safety of participants and spectators is strictly forbidden.

4. ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREES that he or she will not use or operate any vehicle in violation or contravention of any City, County, State or Federal laws, statuaries, ordinances or regulations and shall be personally liable for all fines and penalties for such violations. Proper safety gear is required for all modes of transportation.

5. HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of releases or otherwise while participating in the event.

EACH OF ALL PARTICIPANTS expressly acknowledges and agrees that the forgoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law of the State in which it is operated in and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

ALL PARTICIPANTS HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, and further agree that no oral representations, statements or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

I understand and accept that in the course of my attendance at and participation in the “Michigan AMVETS Post 1988’s ORV Poker Run” film or photographs may be taken, or illustration may be made of me and/or my personal property (including my ORV/Auto). I acknowledge and agree that such film/photographs and/or illustrations may be used in any medium by the Michigan AMVETS Post 1988 and all its related entities and agencies for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium, without compensation to me.

Info: Buffet will open at 5PM and is included in your entry fee. Non-participants can purchase dinner for $15. Children 5-10 yrs, only $10 and free to children under 5.
