- **Event Description**: This summer join us for a very special art workshop in Haddon Medieval Park. Perfect for both beginners and more accomplished artists, this event gives you the opportunity to paint the beautiful landscapes of this private parkland, including the pretty footbridge over the Derbyshire River Wye, the wildflowers and riverbanks, and views of Haddon Hall not normally seen by the public.  

In this full-day workshop, watercolour artist Julie Mellor will teach you the techniques of watercolor painting, whatever your current level of skill, guiding you to create artworks that you will be proud of. You will begin by identifying compositions and learning how to sketch confidently outdoors, and in the afternoon you will paint your work in our Tudor Stables Studio, ready for mounting and framing.  

All tuition, materials and equipment will be provided, including watercolour paper, paints and framing materials. No experience is necessary. 

Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event.
