Founded in 1884 by Giovanni Dasso, Mellor Ranch is a small, family-owned vineyard rooted in resilience, craftsmanship, and deep agricultural tradition. Located in the heart of the Clements Hills AVA near Linden, California, the ranch benefits from warm days, cool nights, and inland coastal breezes that shape wines of structure, balance, and savory depth.
Over five generations, the ranch has evolved from livestock and row crops into a thriving agricultural landscape producing almonds, walnuts, cherries, olives, and premium wine grapes. Today, vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Malbec roll across the foothills, farmed with meticulous care and certified sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowers Alliance.
The Experience
