Bakersfield International Music Festival 2025 Registration

Registration Deadline for the festival is May 12, 2025.

Festival takes place July 16 - 26, 2025

Welcoming students entering 7th grade or older and international students attending CSUB’s Intensive English Language program! This year’s festival is a ten-day chamber music program for students studying violin, viola, cello, double bass, and piano. It will take place at California State University, Bakersfield from July 16-26, 2025. Registration deadline for the festival is May 12, 2025.

CHAMBER MUSIC PROGRAM

The Music Festival is a half-day program (1-5pm) plus concerts in the evening. It will consist of coachings, rehearsals, master classes, concerts, and performances. Students will receive expert coaching on a daily basis with faculty members. Students will also participate in daily master classes in the afternoon. Performances in the evening will create culminating experiences.

The cost to attend is $799, plus a transaction fee ($55.43).

Late Registration: Local students wishing to participate may contact us to be placed on the waiting list. The tuition for late registration after May 12 will be $849, plus a transaction fee ($58.78).

Please note: Full refund before May 12, less a $100 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds of any kind after May 12, 2025. Transaction fees are non-refundable.
