Join us this September 6th for Earth Lines: A Poetry Workshop and Reading with Dr. Mary Quade from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Family Life Center’s Labyrinth, 16349 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. This event is open to the public and facilitated by Professor Mary Quade.
In this unique gathering, we’ll explore how poetry can deepen our connection to the natural world, offering language to express wonder, grief, and responsibility. Through guided writing exercises, shared readings, and reflective conversation, participants will be invited to engage their senses, tap into personal experience, and give voice to the landscapes that shape us. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or simply curious about the power of words, this workshop is open to all. Together, we’ll use art to slow down, listen closely, and rediscover our relationship with the living earth. Come write, reflect, and reconnect with nature, with community, and with yourself.
Tickets and registration details coming soon! Stay tuned and mark your calendar! We can’t wait to see you there.
