- **Event Description**: Have you ever donated an item to the Coventry Town Museum? Do you know someone who has donated an item to the Coventry Museum? Were you a volunteer of the museum in the past with knowledge of the artifacts? Have you been on a tour of the museum with a tour guide and remember any of the stories told to you about any of the items? We need you! 

When the church burned adjacent to the museum over a decade ago, which also caused considerable damage to the museum building, the community quickly emptied the museum contents for safekeeping. This is GREAT because it saved our vast collection of artifacts from being destroyed. Later all of our items were brought back, BUT our inventory of all of our items was never returned. What does this mean? This means everything donated to the museum from 1976 until about 8 years ago has no written record. We do not know donors, stories, or provenance of any of those items, which make up a vast part of our collection. 

If you or someone you know could help us by providing information regarding one or several of our items we kindly ask (actually we strongly urge!) that you come to this event next month. Your valuable information will then be documented for the future of our museum.
