The stories in the film are told through the eyes of children and their memories of the First Nation families who came from Canada during the summer to pick berries, the Filipino manongs who lived in the cabins during the winter months, how these memories shaped generations to come, and the rich relationships throughout. Picker cabins are cultural artifacts that connect to broader themes to land and agriculture.
