Many different levels of dancers attend.
This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids.

Admission free at this location.
Membership is easy and inexpensive - $20 per year, pro-rated.  Membership  year begins on June 1.

There is a new DONATION button on the NVCWDA.org  site.  We appreciate online donations to help cover expenses when we hold dances where we are not allowed to collect any money.

BYO non-alcoholic beverage (bottle filler for water is available in the building).  Light snacks are OK, but you need to clean up.

Dances are held on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month.

For weather considerations, we follow the Fairfax Co. Government (NOT the schools).

Lincolnia Senior Center, 4710 N. Chambliss St, Alexandria, VA 

We have been using some different locations recently due to the issues with collecting admission at Lincolnia.  As we book alternate locations, they will be announced here and on the website.

We always appreciate some help setting up the tables and chairs prior to the dance.  If you can, please come at 5, or a bit before.  We always appreciate those who stay until the end to help put the tables and chairs away (after the music stops).

Speaking of help being appreciated......It's getting close to time for election of officers for the Board of Directors of NVCWDA.  It really would be good if we could get some new "blood" in the group that keeps the organization running.  Most positions do not require a lot of time.  We have important positions that have not been filled since before the shutdown for COVID.  As a result, a few of the current officers and directors are doing double duty or more.  That isn't really sustainable over time and leaves the Association in a bind if something happens to cause someone to be unable to continue doing the work they are doing.  Please consider stepping up and helping to keep the dances going.  See Karen Johnson if you are interested.
