This is a time to reflect, release, and honour the unseen. Our ancestors, our grief, and the quietness that lives beneath it all.We gather together in candlelight to soften, to remember, and to connect with spirit.Held on the sacred grounds of St John’s Church in Baildon, this ceremony invites us to drop beneath the noise of everyday life and open to something deeper, something timeless. We’ll be guided by intuition, earth-based spiritual traditions and ancient shamanic wisdom, calling on the elements and our ancestors as we move through ceremony, rest, and renewal. This gathering has become a beloved annual ritual. Each year is unique, yet always filled with tenderness, depth, and connection to the cycle of life.If you feel called to join, you are warmly welcome. The JourneyYou’ll be welcomed with a cup of Ceremonial Cacao, a gentle heart medicine that helps us arrive fully in the body and open to spirit. As we drink, we’ll honour the turning of the year and those who came before us, inviting in their guidance and protection. We’ll then move into grounding Yin Yoga, easing into deep, restorative postures that allow the body to release tension and energy held from the year so far.The soft tones of the hang drum will carry us into a meditative state, helping you to unwind. To close, we rest in stillness for a Reiki-infused Sound Journey with crystal and Himalayan bowls, rhythmic drumming, overtone singing, and gongs. This is a space to surrender and be held to let the vibrations wash through you, restoring balance and calm.Coming together in circle can be profoundly powerful, an ancient way of remembering our connection to one another, to the earth, and to spirit.Through this ritual, we honour our lineage, soften to grief, and open to the subtle presence of our ancestors.Who This Is ForThis ceremony is open to all - Lifelong seekers and beginners, those navigating change, experiencing grief or anyone simply feeling the weight of the world. It offers a moment to pause and reconnect with the deeper rhythms of life, to reflect on what’s been, and to open to what’s yet to come.No yoga experience is needed, just curiosity and open mindedness. What’s Included?
