Tao Po
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Day, the critically acclaimed play/monologue by actress-activist Mae Paner (Juana Change), TAO PO, will be staged in the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio.
Please join us on Friday 8 February at 4 p.m. at the Auditorium of University of the Cordilleras, 6/F Main Building, Gov. Pack Road, Baguio City.
Mae Paner brings to life the experiences of four individuals and how their lives were changed by the government’s war on drugs campaign. A discussion on the subject of human rights and extra-judicial killings will follow immediately after.
The performance is free and open to the public.
TAO PO is sponsored by the University of the Cordilleras, with support from HUDYAT: Artists for Human Dignity, DAKILA, Commission on Human Rights. and a network of Baguio-based artists and cultural groups composed of Dap-ayan ti Kultura iti Kordilyera (DKK), Let's Organize for Democracy and Integrity (LODI), Baguio Writers Group and BenCab Museum.
