Uwharrie Trailblazers Annual Meeting

Save the date for our UTB Annual Meeting, Saturday, January 10, 2026! This year we'll be at Morrow Mountain State Park in their Visitor Center Community Meeting Room. Two awesome hikes in the park - one before the meeting and one after - are already being organized!!! In addition to the hikes we will also have our traditional chili with all the fixins lunch and a great program.

We are very excited to welcome Jeff Michael to be our speaker for the program! Jeff Michael was the founding executive director of the Land Trust for Central North Carolina (now Three Rivers Land Trust), has served on the boards of Morrow Mountain State Park Advisory Committee and Preservation North Carolina, and is currently the NC DNCR Deputy Director for Natural Resources, managing the North Carolina Zoo, Division of State Parks and Recreation, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina Aquariums, and Division of Land and Water Stewardship.
