NorseForged Legacy: A Day of Dice, Decks, and Destiny!
This is a micro event in the spirit of the first 2 gatherings NorseForged held at his old shop in Salisbury, NC in 2022 and 2023. No pot luck this time though, we will have food/drink vendors!

This event is going to be centered around playing D&D, Card Games, Food, & Local Mead/Brews, a hand full of vendors, and activities more catered to adults - We love our kids, but this event is for 18+!
COSTUME/GARB REQUIRED
Come wearing your finest garb/armor/robe! We want this to be an immersive experience for everyone attending. We are looking for everyone to be their own "character", roleplaying is encouraged!
The theme is Norse/Fantasy/Medieval vibes, but we welcome all nerds! As long as your outfit covers your bits and can't hurt anyone. Be respectful of the event and our community! Any hateful, disrespectful, or otherwise distasteful outfits will not be welcome and will be banished from the land.
No Tee-Shirts, Jeans, "modern" attire at this event, please! If wearing an outfit/costume/armor isn't your thing, then come to the NorseForged Gathering 6! (May 22-24, 2026) Where all outfis are welcome. We want NorseForged Legacy to be a feast for the eyes, as well as your bellies!
All metal weapons will be "peace-tied" for safety and to keep peace in the realm!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
NorseForged returns to New London, North Carolina, for a one-day celebration of all things tabletop and fantasy! We're bringing back the spirit of the original first two NorseForged Gatherings, so prepare for a day packed with fun, friendship, and fantasy. This will be centered around the idea of "coming to a tavern and finding an adventuring party to join". There will be an inside and an outside tavern! There will be no "fighting" or PVP at this event (unless youre playing in a D&D game and your DM says it's cool), this day will be for gathering in a "neutral zone" tavern.
Whether you're a seasoned Dungeon Master, a strategic Magic: The Gathering planeswalker, or just curious about the world of TTRPGs and card games, there's something for everyone at NorseForged. This event will be held in the same place we had the King's Feast at NFG5, and if you weren't there, it's just a giant hall for us to play games in!
Inside our gaming hall, in the theme of a Norse fantasy tavern, we will have many tables set up for games. We will have reserved D&D tables (join the Discord to get your spot in a campaign), open TTRPG tables, card game tables, and a "Adventure Board" for posted games and times! Inside we will also have a tavern set up, serving local mead or brews! For jumping into D&D games, we ask that you bring a 5th level character (2024 5th Edition) to make it easy on everyone! Outside of the hall there will be a variety of merchants and the "Mead Garden". In the small Merchant Bazaar - in the idea of "leveling up your character" - we will be featuring leather smiths, blacksmiths, fur traders, armorers, jewelry enchanters, as well as, card and dice dealers. The NorseForged booth will also be there, with knives and swords made especially for this event. We are also in the works of booking a few games for the outside (like axe throwing), as well as having fire entertainment at night! The Mead Garden will be surrounded by our food vendors, local meaderies/breweries, and have our giant tent filled with tables and chairs for sitting and enjoying your food and drinks! Also, the parking is very close and convient to the space this will all be hosted in. We will be uploading the map as soon as it's finalized!
**Here's what you can expect:**
**TTRPG Adventures:** Dive into thrilling Dungeons & Dragons sessions and other tabletop role-playing games! Meet new players, roll some dice, and forge unforgettable stories. Don't forget to sign up before hand on the NorseForged's Nerds Discord.
**Magic: The Gathering Mayhem:** Battle it out in casual games of Magic: The Gathering. Bring your favorite deck or learn to play! Other card games welcome as well! We will have tables dedicated to just card games.
**A Community of Nerds:** Connect with fellow gamers, share your passion, and make new friends in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our favorite thing about the gatherings is the kinship found amongst the nerds at each event.
**Festive Food & Drink:** Indulge in delicious food and quench your thirst with a selection of craft beers and (of course!) mead! We will be having a MEAD GARDEN, full of tables and chairs outside in a tent for sitting down and enjoying your food and beverage. There will also be a selection of food vendors at the mead garden, food will be available for the whole event! Keeping our bellies full so we can adventure on in our campaigns!
Mead & Brews available 21+ ONLY
**Awesome Vendors:** Browse a variety of vendors offering unique gaming gear, art, crafts, garb, furs, jewelry, and other nerdy treasures to have your "character" glow up. There will only be 10 or so vendors in the spirit of the first 2 gatherings.
**Cosplay/Garb/Fantasy Attire Required:** Show off your creativity and dress up as your favorite character! No showing up in Tee Shirts and Jeans. This will be an immersive event for all!!
**Photo Ops:** We will have a few scenic "scenes" for our guest to take as many photos as they want in! Content creation is encouraged, as we love sharing magic!
**And So Much More!** Expect surprises, laughter, and a whole lot of tabletop joy. Many announcements to come. We have some more things in the works entertainment wise as well!
