Un prélude
Le tango nuevo, évolution du tango argentin depuis les années 1980, adopte un abrazo ouvert et élastique, ainsi qu'une dynamique décalée, permettant aux danseurs d'incarner la musique avec des nuances improvisées et une clarté structurelle.
Ce langage stylistique a été établi grâce à une étude biomécanique détaillée (notamment par Naveira et Salas) et à des expérimentations musicales modernes, invitant à la fois rigueur et liberté de mouvement.

Suite au succès de *Nuevo Elegance Experience 3.0* (du 1er au 4 mai 2025), qui proposait 12 leçons thématiques et des milongas immersives basées sur la *Méthode Nuevo*, la *4e édition* approfondit la méthodologie et aligne davantage le mouvement avec la structure et l'expression musicales.

Vous, danseurs et danseuses déjà familiarisés avec le tango, êtes cordialement invités à la Nuevo Elegance Experience 4.0. Pendant quatre jours d'étude, nous allons :
*Affiner les principes fondamentaux* : équilibre, articulation de la démarche, coordination direction-suivi.
*Disséquer le phrasé musical* : des impulsions rythmiques à la syncope, reliant chaque mouvement emblématique à son équivalent acoustique.
*Peaufiner la sophistication hors axe* : positions d'ombre, colgadas, motifs de gancho et dynamiques circulaires.
*Forgez une esthétique de danse personnelle*, guidée par une écoute expressive et un tempérament de performance.

Chaque jour, les leçons 1 et 2 sont consacrées à l'apprentissage de la technique, de la coordination, des séquences et de la communication lead-follow. La leçon 3 est consacrée à l'expérimentation des différentes interprétations musicales des séquences données et peut être considérée comme un temps de pratique : application pratique et révision, appropriation et vérification des connaissances acquises au cours d'une journée. Il est impossible d'assister à la leçon 3 sans avoir suivi les deux premières !
Il est toutefois possible d'assister à chaque journée séparément : chaque jour, un nouveau sujet est proposé, et chaque couple peut choisir le nombre de jours qu'il souhaite étudier.
Nous recommandons le cycle complet de cours car tous les principes sont étroitement liés et les étudiants ont l'occasion unique de revoir les concepts quotidiennement avec El Gato et Lambo.

Tango Nuevo—an evolution of Argentine Tango since the 1980s—embraces an open, elastic abrazo and off‑axis dynamics, permitting dancers to embody the music with improvisational nuance and structural clarity.
This stylistic language was established through detailed biomechanical study (notably by Naveira and Salas) and modern musical experimentation, inviting both rigor and freedom in movement.

Following the success of *Nuevo Elegance Experience 3.0* (May 1–4, 2025), which offered 12 thematic lessons and immersive milongas grounded in the *Nuevo Method* , the *4th edition* deepens the methodology and further aligns movement with musical structure and expression.

Each day - Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 are dedicated to learning the technique, coordination, actual sequences and lead-follow communication, Lesson 3 is purely for experimenting with possible musical interpretations of the given sequences and can be treaded as practice time - practical application and review, appropriation and verification of what we have learned during one specific day. It is not possible to attend the trite lesson without taking the first two!
It is however possible to attend each single day separately - each day we have a new topic a couple can select how many of 4 days they would like to study.
We recommend the entire course cycle as all of the principles are intertwined and students have unique opportunity to review the concepts daily with El Gato & Lambo.
