This special celebration will feature pastors and choirs representing Mitchell, Dougherty, Decatur, Colquitt, Thomas, and surrounding counties, coming together in a spirit of unity, praise, and fellowship. Choirs from participating churches will lift their voices in song, creating an unforgettable worship experience.

A highlight of the evening will be the Pastors' and Ministers' Recognition Ceremony, where we will honor the outstanding leadership, dedication, and service of pastors, ministers, and other spiritual leaders who have made a lasting impact in their churches and communities.

Members of the community will also have the opportunity to participate by voting online for their pastor or minister in several award categories. Award recipients will be recognized during the celebration for their commitment to ministry, leadership, and community service.

In addition, a special tribute will salute pastors, ministers, and other spiritual leaders whose unwavering faith, guidance, and compassionate service have strengthened families, churches, and communities throughout South Georgia.

Join us for Choir Day 2026 on Sunday, August 30, at 5:00 p.m., at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church, as we celebrate the gift of gospel music, honor faithful servants of God, and recognize those whose leadership continues to inspire hope, unity, and spiritual growth.
