From mighty mammals to tiny insects, species around the world are under threat - but there’s hope. In this exciting live session, your class will discover the key reasons why animals become endangered and how conservationists at Chester Zoo are working every day to protect wildlife and and habitats around the world. 

We'll bring your classroom to life through real-life stories, stunning animal footage and interactive activities, helping your pupils to:

? Understand what endangered and extinct mean, and why some species are at risk.

? Discover how zoos, including Chester Zoo, play a vital role in preventing extinction.

? Explore the main threats to animals in the wild - from habitat loss to the illegal wildlife trade.

? Learn about the incredible conservation work happening both here at the zoo and around the world.
