- **Event Description**: Come join us for our 1st Annual Clemente Film Celebration! Each year, Valencia College's nationally recognized and acclaimed film program hosts an amazing event that showcases some of Valencia's finest films. While this is the 31st year of this annual event, we rebranded the name in honor of the former Professor and Program Chair as well as one of the pioneers of the Valencia Film Program, Ralph Clemente, who passed away 2015. This event also serves as a fundraiser for the current film student's final short film productions this upcoming Summer 2026. They’ll also be other open events audiences can attend such as Film Workshops, Alumni Panels and Food Trucks.

Open Events: 

Film Alumni Panel: An open non ticketed event, where we’ll have a few distinguished Alumni discussing the experience in the film program and their journey after graduation into the film and/or entertainment industry. 

Film Workshops: An open non ticketed event, where audiences get first-hand experience as filmmaker as they learn film techniques from our current students. Workshops include, film slating and pulling focus for camera to name a few. 

Food Trucks: We’ll have food trucks available between 3:30pm – 6:30pm for audiences.
