It's a day of international friendship and an opportunity to celebrate the Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement, speak out on issues that affect young women, and fundraise for 10.8 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 153 countries. ?
We are marking the occasion by holding a parade event in Ayr Town Centre, inviting all of our young members and their families to join us to celebrate the history of the movement. The girls have made lanterns expressing what Thinking Day means to them, and what it means to be a Guide in 2026, compared to 1926.
