"Join Deirdre for a Workshop in Tribal Style Bellydance where you will have some fun learning to move your hips, in this grounded contemporary group format that has many influences from folkloric, ritual, Indian and Spanish dances.
This is a style that will shift your energy, lift your spirits and move your body, igniting your feminine energy in a positive way.
No need to show your belly, leggings and a t-shirt will be great - and if you have a lightweight scarf or sarong that can tie around your hips so you can feel your hip movements that's great.
Deirdre has been dancing since 1999, finding her hips' purpose on the banks of the Nile in Egypt listening and dancing to drummers. A Master Teacher for Global Caravan Dance for many years, she travels and teaches classes and workshops all over the world as well as in Ayrshire where she lives. "
