- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 28 Mar, 2026 at 10:30 am – Sat, 28 Mar, 2026 at 12:30 pm
- **Event Description**: TCV and Carnegie Library are hosting a series of four events for families that want to connect to Ayr's local nature and biodiversityAbout this EventThis event is possible thanks to funding received from the Ayrshire Climate HubOver four engaging sessions, we will explore Ayr's local biodiversity. Each session will be dedicated to one of the following topics: trees, mammals, bugs, and birds. This event is open to all ages, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. What to wear – Please check the weather; we will be outside and walking through muddy areas, so wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Where to meet – Meet in the entrance hall of Carnegie Library by 10:30. We will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes for latecomers, after which we will leave the library to travel to the activity area. Note: The topics have not been assigned to specific dates to allow for flexibility regarding the weather. For example, if we planned the tree identification session for 7th February and ended up with a yellow weather warning, the session would need to be cancelled.

Training participants include interested individuals and students looking to brush-up on their environmental knowledge and experience, and members of community groups keen to use newfound skills to enhance their local environment.Listed below are our upcoming training courses and learning opportunities.TCV Scotland activities, including our ‘in-person’ training events have been seriously affected by Covid-19. However, we have managed to provide some learning opportunities online, a trend that is likely to continue in the future. We hope to resume ‘normal service’ across all our activities as soon as possible.Supported by NatureScot"
