Lino printing is a form of relief printing, where sheets of linoleum are carved with a design and then printed to create a final image. It is a great technique for beginner printmakers, due to its simplicity and accessibility.

By the end of the workshop, you will have designed, carved, and printed your own lino block. Creating a series of art prints to take home with you. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, including absolute beginners, and aims to give you a strong understanding of the lino printing process. 

During the workshop, you will:

-Learn the basics of Lino Printing, with an in-depth look at the different tools and materials used.
-Design and carve your own lino block, up to A6 in size.
-Use the block you’ve created to try out a variety of printing techniques, including hand burnishing and printing with a relief press.

16+ due to the use of sharp tools.
