Our free community workshops will walk participants through the risks, and help them to identify some of the key, but often subtle signs, of a scam.

Informed communities are safer ones, so raising awareness around this topic, is of real value.

The workshops are of benefit to those of all ages, but are particularly relevant to those in later life, who are sometimes considered of higher ‘value’ to scammers.

Led by Mark McGlade, Owner/Director of Home Instead, and Holly Willis, Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator, this FREE Scams Awareness Workshop will take place on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 10:30am and is kindly hosted by our friends at Sidmouth Library.

Informed communities are safer ones, so raising awareness around the challenges of living with dementia, is of real value.

The Dementia Awareness workshop will walk participants through the recognition of early symptoms, dementia diagnosis, support and communication. 

The workshops are of benefit to those supporting a person living with dementia, or to those that may encounter someone with dementia in their everyday life, socially or in business.

Our workshops are completely free to all.
