Join us for a charming and imaginative journey into the beautifully written children’s book If You Were a Bird by Sally Alce and Jessica Appleby.

“Imagine waking up one morning to find you’ve shrunk to the size of a bird… What would you do? Which bird would you be?”

This lyrical tale introduces children to ten of Britain’s most beloved garden birds, sparking curiosity, wonder and a love of nature.

📖 Storytime Sessions
We’ll be hosting a magical reading at:

12pm

Each reading will be followed by a bird‑themed craft activity inspired by the book — perfect for little hands and big imaginations!

(Weather permitting, the craft session will take place outside. Otherwise, we'll stay cosy in the Reedbase)

📝 Booking Information

Free event, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.
One booking = one child’s space.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, however, space is limited so ideally no more than 2 adults per child.
