WOOF! MEOW! CHIRP! PARTY!
It doesn't matter how you say it, this is a social hobby, and getting together to make friends is one of the best parts of the SCA.
Our animal companions often want the same opportunity, but with a full war schedule, it can be hard to find time for them to get their friendly sniffs in.
The House of the Silver Moon would like to invite you and your animal companions to join us for a PAW-sitivly good time, greeting one another and getting to know the rest of the war menagerie!
We will meet in the battle field space just in front of the House of the Silver Moon encampment.
We hope to just relax and let our companions greet one another, Find new friends, and generally have some enrichment. We will likely discuss general animal topics while allowing our four legged guests some play time. Please feel free to bring an enrichment activity if you would like.
PAW-t Luck- We invite you to bring your companion's favorite treat to share during this PAW-t Luck. This gives us all the chance to try new treats and find what is the new best snacks! Please bring a list of ingredients if the treat is homemade.
Door PUURRR-izes- ticket into a drawing for every non-human attendee!
PAW-rade- At the end of the get together, we would like to invite everyone to go on a short group walk through merchants (or maybe around the battle field) to show off the menagerie of the kingdom to the populace. Costumes are welcome but not required.
Rainbow Bridge Table- We will have a small table to put items of those pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge and wait for us in the afterlife. Yes, Batman will be there. We plan to hold a short moment of silence to honor those who have crossed the bridge.
