They gather to remember the children that they miss each and every day. A wave of light around the world is created, as candles are lit at each site, reminding us that we are never alone in our grief. The Hendricks County Angel of Hope invites you to join them for the 17th Annual Candlelight Vigil Friday December 6th, 2025 7:00PM (doors open at 6:15) Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene 47 N County Rd 625 E, Avon, IN The doors will open at 6:15 PM on Saturday, December 6 at the Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene. The program will begin at 7:00 PM. Dress for the weather. Just as in years past, the vigil will still end the program outside at the Angel of Hope Memorial Statue. Please be mindful that the Avon Town Park tree lighting event goes until 8 pm. In order to avoid the registration line, register online prior to the event here: https://forms.gle/FsYHE5kvZJwtnbUb8 Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene is just west of the Avon Town Hall Park. There is a paved path from the church to the Angel of Hope. There is a small lot available for handicapped parking, with an entrance nearby. More parking information is attached in comments. We are so grateful to Avon Parkside Church for allowing us to use their space again this year. It allows for significantly more seating, while still being a short walk to the Angel of Hope. We are happy to again be able to share a Remembrance Video this year as well! It is so special to be able to recognize the precious lives that have changed our world. For those that would like to include a photo of their child(ren), high-quality JPEG or PNG files can be submitted to AngelOfHopePhotos@gmail.com. If you don't have a picture or would rather not use a picture, you can send the child's name along with a symbol (butterflies, roses, etc.) you like to use when remembering your child and we will put a picture together for you. All photos MUST be emailed by 1:00 PM, on Monday, November 24th. Photos received in previous years will not be included unless they are resubmitted for the 2025 Candlelight Vigil.
