About The Host:
I live in the Highlands where I specialise in guiding in remote, hard-to-reach locations like Knoydart, and making adventures more sustainable. I have been guiding in the outdoors since 2015. I began leading DofE groups as a volunteer and soon immersed myself in the outdoor world to become a professional guide, and complete some amazing adventures, both solo and as part of a team. I hold the UK Mountain Leader Awards for guiding in Summer and Winter and a British Cycling Ride Leader Award. My favourite personal adventure was cycling to and through the Alps in 2020, hiking and climbing on my days off the bike. Some would say my most notable achievement was cycling to the Alps a second time in 2022 to climb the Matterhorn and Dufourspitze (Monte Rosa). If you need help or advice on how to make your adventure more environmentally friendly, I'll be very happy to help you.
