Peter Mackay shares the remarkable life of Dame Lucy Houston, a woman whose story is stranger than fiction. From showgirl to peeress and owner of Kinrara, Lucy became “the richest woman in Britain,” funded the first flight over Everest, and was hailed as Saviour of the RAF. Along the way she courted scandal, power, and political intrigue - all while living life on the edge of sanity.
