Backcountry Snowsports Leader Assessment

The assessment examines the skills of leading groups on ski/split-board tours in the UK Backcountry, not including technical environments requiring the use of mountaineering equipment (axe; crampons; rope). Holders of this award will be able to use backcountry terrain within the UK to offer tours for both skiers and riders.
