On 13 and 14 December, VIC NIC is proud to host the first edition of IN LOCO, a cycle dedicated to live performance in electronic and exploratory music. Building on projects such as the BREAK2023 independent music industry seminar and the Magma, Traces of Listening and Data Knot workshops, IN LOCO represents our latest capacity-building programme in the field of music.
For this inaugural edition, we have partnered with four likeminded organisations — HUM (Sevilla), Sintetica (Italy), Sonic Territories (Vienna), and Stansa (Barcelona) — to present an outstanding group of artists: Arya (PT), Combray (ES), KØMMEN (IT), Lorenzo Donato (IT), MEMA. (PT), Miguel Torga (PT) and RENT (AT). Together, they will take part in three intensive days of collaborative work, knowledge sharing, and live electronic performance.
Developed within the Creative Europe project AMP — Adventurous Music Plateaux, coordinated by the Plateaux Foundation (PL) and carried out by a consortium of seven European organisations, the programme will record all public events using 360º video for later presentation in VR format, contributing to the growing AMP archive.
