- **Event Description**: Registration is officially open for Gethsemane Lutheran Church's 2026 Vacation Bible School!

Each day begins with an opening of songs and story in the Gethsemane sanctuary at 9:00 a.m. You are welcome to come any time after 8:30 a.m.; there will be supervision on the church grounds. The morning will include storytelling, music, craft time, recreation, and a light snack.  

Each morning, there will be an opportunity to bring an offering of money or canned goods to support the ministries at Gethsemane Lutheran Church.

All are invited to come to the closing program Friday morning, 11:00 a.m., in the sanctuary, followed by a hotdog lunch in the Multi-Purpose Room with a free will offering to help with VBS expenses.

Please register for VBS by filling out the registration form online or returning a paper form to the church narthex, office, or by mailing it to Gethsemane. You are encouraged to invite friends, relatives, and neighbors to participate in this fun outreach ministry!

Volunteers Needed!

Gethsemane Vacation Bible School invites all children age 3 by June 1, 2026 and including those completing 5th grade. 6th graders and older are invited to sign up to assist with VBS as volunteers.

You are invited to volunteer, even if you can only assist one day. We need help in the craft area, preparing and serving snacks, the storytelling room, games, and being a guide to lead the children from one area to another. Please note on the registration form which day you can assist and in which activity you would prefer to help. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and make a difference in the lives of children.

being courageous is contagious.

Vacation Bible School is a fun and important ministry of Gethsemane and it takes several volunteers to make it happen. Please join us in making Vacation Bible School a wonderful faith growing time.
