Put on those dancing shoes and celebrate the release of NEON's new film, THE LIFE OF CHUCK, with a night of live jazz music and swing dancing, brought to you by The Copa Kings and The Highball at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar.
Don't worry if you are new to swing dancing, instructors will be in attendance to help you get the "swing" of things! This FREE event promises good vibes, great drinks, and partying like you're in the 1940's (or maybe the end of the world).
The Copa Kings were formed in Austin, Texas, out of a desire to breathe new life into some of the great jazz standards of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. With great reverence, the band brings a unique passion, artistry and flair to the jazz music of this period.
This event will take place directly following THE LIFE OF CHUCK Advanced Screening with Livestream Q&A. Tickets to the screening are sold separately and are NOT required to attend this event.
