In the last State Board of Education meeting CAIR attempted to claim the Alamo was an Islamic building and that kids should be taught that Muslims played a part in our Texas History. (which is false!). At the end of the meeting she said, “I’m not submitting,” Zayan said as she left, “I’m coming again in June.” ?

• The SBOE meeting is scheduled for June 22–26, 2026. 

• Based on the SBOE’s official registration rules, public testimony sign-up normally starts at 8:00 a.m. CST on the Tuesday before the meeting week and closes at 5:00 p.m. Friday before the meeting. So registration opens: Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. CST and closes Friday, June 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CST

• The detailed June agenda probably will not be posted until about 1–2 weeks before the meeting. 

• As soon as the SBOE post the exact day between June 22-26, we will post it here on our page (This Is Texas Freedom Force).
