She has contributed to more than 30 albums and appeared in productions including Dreamgirls and RENT. In 2013, she was honored with her own day by then-Mayor Steve Adler in the City of Austin.Courtney is the founder of The Survive2Thrive Foundation and CEO of SANCTUARY PBC, supporting thousands of domestic violence survivors in securing safe housing and critical resources. A former lobbyist and policy director for the Texas Council on Family Violence, she helped advance legislation protecting survivors across Texas.
