Louder Than Crowder: Protest Breitbart Bigot Steven Crowder

Update: Crowder has been postponed! We'll keep you posted!

UT's Young Conservatives of Texas and Young Americans for Liberty, best known for organizing racist anti-affirmative action bake-sales on the UT campus, will host Breitbart Bigot Steven Crowder on November 30th. A misogynist, Islamophobe, Zionist, homophobe, transphobe, racist and sidekick of Milo Yiannopoulos, Crowder styles himself as a "comedian" whose jokes are punchlines of bigotry that help organize and embolden far-Right and fascist groups as well as their sympathizers. As far-Right and fascist organizations terrorize leftwing academics and students while simultaneously deploying the rhetoric of free speech to build a base on college campuses, we, all anti-racist, anti-sexist students, faculty and staff, must wield our free speech and right to assemble to oppose and, in overwhelming numbers, defeat them. Far-Right bigots like Crowder do not deserve public debate. They deserve political defeat. And we, the vast majority, must deliver it through mass protest to ensure that their ideas are not normalized, that they do not find an audience, and that those they seek to attack, the oppressed and vast majority, are organized to fight back.
