Currently an MFA candidate at The New Writers Project in Austin, she serves as chapbook editor for GASHER Press. Her work has been recognized by trampset, The Indiana Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, and more.Jess Peng is a Chinese American writer from Massachusetts. Her fiction is interested in myth and family, suburbia, and animals with opinions. She is a 3rd year MFA candidate with UT’s New Writer’s Project.
