About GZA & Liquid Swords

GZA (a.k.a. “The Genius”) is a seminal voice in East Coast hip-hop, known for his intricate storytelling, philosophical leanings, and razor-sharp metaphors. As one of the original Wu-Tang Clan members, he helped pioneer a new standard in lyricism and depth.

Released November 7, 1995 on Geffen and produced largely by RZA, Liquid Swords is often hailed as a high watermark in the Wu-Tang solo catalog.
