The City of Austin will be officially recognizing Pride Arts & Heritage Week with a mayoral proclamation, with Austin Pride and Equality Texas as endorsing partners!This interdisciplinary and multicultural production highlights Austin-based professional BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ visual artists, musicians, and dancers. The evening opens with a community resource fair and visual art gallery exhibition featuring Austin-based BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ visual artists, followed by live performances spanning classical, jazz, ballet, Indian Classical, tap dancing, contemporary, Filipino, and West African musical and movement traditions.The performance culminates in the world premiere of All This Flesh, an original dance short film conceived by Artistic Director Caitlin Elledge, produced by ATX Artists for Social Impact, and performed by Capital Contemporary Ballet.VIP Section and Cocktails sponsored by Both performance timeslots are identical in content.Note: Often when we think of Pride, we think of beautiful costumes and extravagant parades.
