“Doc, You Said I Have WHAT? – Understanding Your Diagnosis in Plain English for Your 2026 Health Resolution” is a live session with Dr. Shirlet Fowler Oriakhi DNP RN where you’ll learn how to translate medical language into everyday language so you can finally:

• Understand what your main diagnosis actually means (not just the fancy word)
• Make sense of what some of your medications are doing
• Know simple, realistic steps you can take to care for yourself better in 2026

We’ll focus on these common conditions:

• High blood pressure
• Type 2 diabetes
• High cholesterol
• Heart issues (heart failure” or “AFib”)

You’ll leave with a healthcare resolution that is more than “I’ll do better this year” and more like:

“I understand what’s going on with my body, and I know 1–3 things I can start doing this week.”
