Central Texas Math Carousel 2026

Join us for an exciting third annual math competition for 5th-grade students living in the Austin metroplex—Central Texas Math Carousel 2026! This engaging math celebration, hosted by Harmony Public Schools–Central Texas, has both individual and team tournaments. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AT HarmonyTX.org/mathcarousel.

The event includes unlimited individual players. The team challenge consists of groups of four 5th graders.
NOTE: Each school may only register one team. Each team requires a teacher or sponsor, and each individual player requires a designated adult at all times.

Competition Highlights

• Schools may register up to one team of four 5th-grade student players.
• If students are registered for the team competition, they are automatically registered for the individual round.
• If students are not part of a team, they may register and participate only in the individual round.
• Free registration until January 16, 2026, or until 20 teams are filled.
• Engage in enjoyable team tasks to foster teamwork and critical thinking.
• Experience the joy of overcoming obstacles, demystifying math into an exciting challenge.
• Notable prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and Honorable Mention. There are two places for Honorable Mention.
