A New Year, A New Way of Being Retreat with Kelly Lindsey and Lauren Hubele
Welcome 2019 with a dedicated day of self-reflection and restorative meditation practices. Tap into your personal belief system for healing and sort through what thoughts and beliefs have served you in 2018 and what you will need in 2019 to support a new way of being.
Discover how mindfulness on and off the cushion can lead to restored physical and emotional immunity. Experience teachings, guided meditation, periods of silence, reflective journaling. Gain insights that will lead you a deepened sense of self-awareness. Learn practices that will support further growth, preparing you for a new way of being in the new year.
9:30 - 10am: Arrival and settle in
10 - 11:30am: Opening meditation, movement and reflections with Kelly
11:30am - 1pm: Tapping into your belief system and exploring universal truths of healing with Lauren
1 - 1:45pm: Outrageously delicious plant-based lunch
1:45 - 2:30pm: Creating your personal path with Lauren
2:30 - 3:15pm: Meditation and self reflections with Kelly
3:15 - 4pm: Setting intentions and sharing with Lauren and Kelly
The retreat will be held at the beautiful Still Waters Retreat Center from 10am-4pm on Tuesday, January 1st. Plan to arrive between 9:30-9:50am.
A plant-based lunch is included.
Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, meditation cushion, blanket and journal.
Kelly Lindsey is a yoga and meditation teacher, mind-body therapist, and co-founder of Dakini Meditative. Kelly’s meditative journey began more than twenty years ago and has included many different styles of practice and paths of study. She draws on her extensive training in counseling psychology, Buddhist meditation, and classical yoga in her work with students and clients. Her spiritual practice is inextricably connected to her daily life, as she brings together her roles of mother, meditation teacher, mind-body therapist, and entrepreneur. Lauren Hubele is a health educator, author, family coach, wife, and mother who lives and works in Austin, Texas. Her work provides a framework for restoring immunity using mindfulness-based practices and protocols of Gemmotherapy, Homeopathy, and a plant-rich diet. Lauren is the author of the Gemmotherapy For Everyone series which currently has two volumes: Building Immunity In Babies & Young Children and An Introduction To Acute Care. Having raised three vibrant children on plant-based diets and natural medicine, she is passionate about empowering families to care for themselves using the power of plants.
