The days are dark and getting darker, but on this solstice night we gather to celebrate the light - the hope that comes with being together 🍵🍫🪕
Join the Shameful Comforts for a cozy night of music and bonfires (if allowed) and good times and good folks (always allowed)
If you'd like to contribute a song or an act of any kind, just let us know! We love to leave ample time for friends to share between our two sets if they like ❤️🔥🎭
And then we'll bid a hearty wassail to you and yours, and to the fire (if we had one), and to this YEAR (if it can be called such), which has gone by at blistering light speeds.
But hey let's just slow it down here at the end and sit for a spell

The Shameful Comforts is what happens when a trio of poet-theatre-improv performance artists make music – mostly acoustic, weird, cozy, folky, filky, sometimes filthy, with a lil’ storytelling thrown in for FLAVOR. They all write music, sing, and between the three of them play a whole orchestra of instruments: upright bass, bass guitar, bass ukulele, acoustic guitar, concert uke, baritone uke, banjo, banjolele, keyboard, toy piano, trumpet, violin, cello, harmonica, melodica, stylophone, recorder, and various forms of percussion.
They also got jokes.
They are Jules Moore, Michael Ferstenfeld, and David Fruchter, three human beings just like you (but different, see)
