Kicking off our series on January 20, 2026 is Louisa Barbosa a singer-songwriter from Aurora, Ontario who has been performing all around the GTA and York Region since 2016. Her dad, Fabio Barbosa, is a percussionist from Brazil whose daughter inherited his love for music. Louisa’s writing is characterized by catchy indie-rock riffs and powerful vocals, as well as lyrics that evoke nostalgia reminiscent of the trials and tribulations of getting older. Join her and her dad for a dynamic acoustic set consisting of Louisa’s originals, pop and rock classics, and a hint of Brazilian bossa nova! Don’t miss this soulful start to Tuesday Tunes!
