- **Event Description**: We’ve been hosting a swap meet on the second Saturday of every month since last November. They’re really picking up steam but so is the parking lot. 

This month we are going to attempt to stay open until 2pm but if KJ’s Lemonade and Frizz stand or our misting tent can’t beat the heat, then expect us to close by noon. 

However…(and maybe this is just wishful thinking but)… based on the vendor’s interests and availability…. we may reopen on Sunday for a rare two-day event closer to sunset. This is for all those late arrivals who never seem to get to us before the weather does, even when closing early isn’t really up to us to begin with. Safety, comfort and hospitality is our main concern every time, but, an evening swap meet is definitely worth considering.

The decision to make it a two-day event will depend solely on the vendors that come out. Either way, I will setup a cooling station and, if I can keep up with it, I’ll even provide free water. But if the heat doesn’t draw in as many vendors or visitors as normal, I will keep everyone updated via this event page.

Smaller animals are not too fond of this heat either so we are leaning more towards the open-air market concept.

If you came last month to sell, just know someone has commented on a picture asking about you. The rooster cookie jars, the leather bags, the baby ducks and Nanny Bakes have all had someone asking about them. I will reach out to you guys soon to see if you’re available.

We look forward to having you out at the drive-in from 7am-2pm Saturday July 11th, and if the lawn out front is cooler and not swampy, we may host it out there instead.
