He immediately began producing and performing standup comedy full time. He then took over the well-known Sycamore Tavern in Hollywood, and went on to brand the room, "The Dojo of Comedy," with comedian/friend Sam Tripoli. It became known as the best workout comedy club in Los Angeles, running up to six nights a week of comedy and it eventually grew a 2nd room known as "The Dojo Annex."
