Find out what lies beneath the rippling surface.About this EventCelebrate all things  River on the Allt Beithe, Aultbea - Saturday 26th September with Wester Ross Fisheries Trust 09:30- 14:00September 27th is World Rivers Day so we’re inviting folk to discover just how important our river habitats are for the wildlife that call it home. We’ll have an electrofishing demonstration with Peter Cunningham from the Wester Ross Fisheries Trust at the start of the morning. Kick sampling with the Aultbea River Guardians mid-morning until lunchtime and a walk up to Goose Loch for a picnic and discussion of River ecosystems and how we can help them.We ask for donations for this event to help with our work, which goes towards education about and protection of the nature of the Highlands. Please give what you feel you can afford*. We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per person to cover our costs or £10 per person to further support our work.*Please be aware that there is a required £1 minimum donation. This covers Eventbrite fees and does not go to the Ranger Service. Please be aware that while ticket refunds may be issued within the 14 day refund window, Eventbrite fees are non-refundable
