Sip & Sgraffito: Christmas Plate

Class Experience
Get into the holiday spirit with a creative evening of sgraffito and sipping! In this festive workshop, each participant will receive a hand-thrown stoneware plate lovingly crafted by our studio artists just for you! The plates will be in the greenware stage (still clay, not yet fired) so they are ready to sgraffito. You’ll design your plate using underglaze and provided templates, then carve your final details using the sgraffito technique to create a one-of-a-kind Christmas plate.

Your first beverage from our bar is included with the class, so relax and enjoy while you paint, carve, and create.

Once complete, your plates will stay in the studio to dry, be bisque fired, dipped in a clear gloss, and then glaze fired. Finished plates will be ready to pick up just in time for Christmas—perfect for displaying or using at your holiday gatherings.
