Paint & Sip: Flower Studies – Botanical Petal Rendering

Class Experience
In this guided Paint & Sip class, students will focus on painting three separate botanical flower studies, each highlighting a different type of petal structure. Using acrylic or watercolor (adjustable to your studio preference), we’ll break down how petals grow, overlap, curve, and catch light.

Instruction will cover:

Observing and simplifying petal shapes
Rendering soft vs. structured petals
Layering, blending, and brush techniques for realistic depth
Color mixing to achieve natural highlights and shadows

Each student will complete three individual flower studies while enjoying a relaxed, social studio environment. This class is beginner-friendly, with plenty of one-on-one guidance, and also valuable for more experienced painters looking to strengthen their botanical rendering skills.

All materials are provided. One beverage is included.
